How is it possible to have a bad week when you get to be a
special witness of Gods work moving in a positive direction? Every time I think
about complaining I’m constantly remembered of God’s love and divine power
through his tender mercies. The Miracles we see every day are soooo hard to
explain. But I can stand and testify that God blesses each of us so personally
and gives exactly what we need when we need it.
This week we had a meeting with our bishop about a family that
will be baptized. They are not legally married yet but have such an immense
desire to follow the commandments and be baptized. Here in Brazil it takes some
times months and is very expensive. But our Bishop has a friend who works in
the court house that will help this couple be married for free and in only a
few weeks. Is God’s work not truly being hastened?
We also had zone conference which went very well. I love Sister
Mazzagardi (wife of pres). She is so spiritual and gives the most interesting
trainings! We also got to participate in many practices including teaching and
inviting in less than 30 seconds. (I'd invite you to try that one. It’s fun to challenge
yourself and see how to make it work).
We also found a less active man who has a daughter not baptized.
We started teaching her and she has already brought her friend to church to
meet us and to be taught as well. We as missionaries and members have to teach
where we find and find where we each as preach my gospel teaches.
Over all It was amazing week and I’m excited to start this next
one. I hope you all continue to be the lights in this darkening world. Thank
you all for the support, prayers and great examples. Love you all tons!
